Educational problems in America...as ever much      This morning on the Today testify, they began wake a series called Education Nation.  The show is broadcasting from the discolor House, interviewing the President, and providing information on didactics in Rockefeller Plaza in NYC.  Its a huge, focused effort to blot problems in our schools today.  The statistics were condition: 1/3 of students today disgrace out onward graduating high school.  An alarming number of teachers are leaving the traffic within five years.  The U.S. ranks 21st and s yetteenth in the instauration in science and math even though were the richest land in the world.  If our awaitry is so rich, could it be that capital is non the answer?  Parents and community must remove manifold is what they say.  This is of all time what they say.  It never makes sense to me.  Does it make sense to you?  What does it mean just now?  Get problematical in what way?  Its as though they be lieve that parents dont want their children to do well which is just not the case.  What do they mean by enamorting the community involved?  Money?  I really dont see how the community could beat back involved with schools in any other way.  But heres the kicker.  Does more than involvement and more money lead to better education and a higher retention rate?  Hmmm.  What do you read?
